As an entrepreneur, do you ever find yourself craving something more? That burning desire within you to expand, grow, and achieve greatness is what sets us apart from the crowd. We're constantly seeking that inner knowing, that space of intuition that guides us towards our goals with unwavering clarity. But, here's the thing – finding that clarity isn't always easy. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of running a business, it's easy to lose sight of our true intentions. That's where meditation comes in.
Yes, you heard me right – meditation.
I know what you're thinking – "I'm an extrovert! How on earth can sitting still in silence help me?"
Well my friend, let me tell you – meditation is not just for introverts or zen masters on mountaintops. It is a powerful tool that supports entrepreneurs on their journey towards success.
When we take the time to sit in stillness (I know what you're thinking) and silence, we create space for our thoughts to settle.
We invite a sense of calm into our chaotic minds and allow ourselves to tap into our inner wisdom.
This is where true growth happens.
So how the heck do I sit with my thoughts?
Creating a Meditation Ritual
Through regular meditation practice, we cultivate self-awareness.
We become more attuned to our thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations.
We gain a heightened sense of clarity that helps us make better decisions and navigate challenges with ease.
Where to Start
The first step is doing it your way. This means you do not need to sit cross legged on the ground.
Maybe it's on a nature walk with some earbuds in or maybe you just wanna use a guided meditation to help you zero on on specific thoughts.
There is no RIGHT answer on how you should meditate, but the key that you need to start with is zoning in on how you like to think, center in and listen to your intuition for what actually feels good to you.
If you want a meditation kit designed specifically for entrepreneurs , check out the Refined Ritual Meditation box, this is where I started and still use to this day to get into my meditation zone.
So how does Expanded Self- Awareness help me as an Entrepreneur?
Becoming more self-aware expands our perception.
We start noticing the signs and synchronicities that guide us towards our goals.
We develop a deep trust in our intuition, knowing that it will always lead us in the right direction.
Even as a person who practices yoga and has been meditating for many years, I still miss the signs and sometimes can get in my own head.
The key is staying in that higher self, the one that is cool, calm and collected.
The one that notices when things feel off center or when other people's energy (client's included) are impacting your own.
When you start to focus on these things you will be more aligned with your own energy and in a head space to hear your own inner knowing and the signs source is sending you!
How to Listen to Your Intuition
And let's not forget about the importance of paying attention to what lights us up and what doesn't.
As entrepreneurs, we often find ourselves saying yes to every opportunity that comes our way.
But, by listening to our bodies and honoring how we truly feel, we can discern when something is a resounding "no."
This allows us to prioritize our time and energy on what truly aligns with our vision.
So, if you haven't already started a meditation practice, I encourage you to begin today.
It's as simple as finding a quiet space, closing your eyes, and observing your thoughts without judgment.
Start with just a few minutes each day and gradually increase the duration as you become more comfortable.
Here's our Refined Ritual starter kit if you need a little support!
We provide everything you need to get started on your meditation practice with a modern bougie twist.
Remember, success starts from within.
By tapping into the power of meditation and cultivating your inner knowing, you'll unlock a world of clarity, alignment , and abundance in your business and beyond.
